Since my last journal i have been able to get some material for the crystal maze project and have discovered displacement mapping for the 3d work.

Aztec Zone is nearing completion on the modelling front. Just need to finish some brick work and foliage work. That will leave texturing and lighting and animation.

The crystal dome is nearing completion as well, need to get tokens, bridge and surrounding area to finish.

Have made a decision regarding the ocean zone that i have neglected lately. I have decided to mix it in with the other 4 zones. Now it will be 5 zones and the crystal dome. It will make the project more unique and also please the fans of the series.

Got the crystals perfected now but due to the sheer size of this project and the different enviroments i think i will have to composite alot of the footage together. Will hopefully still look good. May try create a guide for the crystal maze as well, possible an actor on a blue screen or a cgi created character.
